Cookie Policy

- Uses: Authentication/session; security; preferences; analytics; limited first-party marketing (no third-party ad networks profiling your end-customers from Contact Data).
- Types: Strictly necessary; preference; analytics; advertising measurement (Meta Pixel).
- Meta Pixel: On our marketing pages and the Free Review Kit funnel (app.zappycards.com/review-kit) we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms. It sets or reads Meta cookies (such as
_fbpand_fbc) and reports page views and events (such as StartTrial) so we can measure our ads. We also send some of these events, with hashed email/phone, from our servers through the Meta Conversions API. We do not use Meta tools on a business's end-customer (Contact Data) information. - Google Places requests: When you search for your business in the funnel, your browser sends the search text directly to Google Places (places.googleapis.com), so Google receives your IP address and browser details under Google's privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity: On the Team Wallet Card funnel (app.zappycards.com/wallet and its steps) we load Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use those pages (clicks, scrolling, page changes) as session replays and heatmaps so we can improve them. What you type about yourself or your team (email, code, names, cell numbers) is masked in the page before it is recorded, and Clarity is not loaded in the logged-in app. Clarity sets cookies such as
_clckand_clskon our site, and Microsoft may setCLID,ANONCHK,MR,MUIDandSM. See Microsoft's privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com). - Browser storage used by the funnel (localStorage / sessionStorage):
zc_vid(a random visitor id, localStorage),zc_variant(the A/B variant you were shown, localStorage),zc_sid(a per-tab session id, sessionStorage),zc_funnel_sent(which funnel steps were already recorded, sessionStorage),zc_attr(campaign details such as UTM parameters and fbclid, localStorage), andzc_kit/zc_kit_qty/zc_kit_qty_src(your kit progress, card quantity and where you picked it, localStorage),zc_kit_email(the email you signed up with, for this tab only, sessionStorage),zc_kit_sale_seen(the sale you were shown, so checkout can tell you if it ended, sessionStorage),zc_kit_news(whether you ticked "Email me with news and offers" at checkout, localStorage),zc_vc/zc_vc_pdp/zc_vc_wallet(whether the offer page was already recorded, sessionStorage),zc_wallet(the business, name and color you picked for your Wallet review card, for this tab only, sessionStorage),zc_wallet_team(the names, cell numbers and optional emails you typed for your team, kept until their cards are sent, localStorage) andzc_st_<id>(that your trial start was already recorded, localStorage). These do not expire on their own; they stay until you clear your browser's site data. - Choices: Manage cookies via your browser; blocking some cookies may affect functionality.
- How to opt out: (a) Block or delete cookies and clear site data in your browser settings (this removes the localStorage keys above); (b) use a tracker-blocking extension or your browser's tracking-protection settings to stop the Meta Pixel; (c) manage ads and off-Meta activity in your Facebook or Instagram settings (facebook.com/adpreferences); or (d) email support@zappycards.com and we will stop sending your data to Meta. The funnel still works with the Pixel blocked; the visitor id is only used for funnel analytics.
